Hotel “Ukraine”

Hotel “Ukraine” was the last of Seven Sisters. Construction was conducted from 1953 to 1957. 34 floors have been erected and 73 - metre spire. The total height of 206 meters. Now hotel closed for repairs.
This is the second in height Stalin skyscraper after the main building of Moscow State University.

Stalin’s guard of the Garden ring

Construction 1948-1953.
Height 133 m.
24 levels.
In Soviet period was the Ministry of Heavy Industry.
In the geometric center you can see the Soviet coat of arms. It’s size two floors. In the USSR loved greater sizes.

Gulliver and midgets

Around Stalin’s skyscrapers no high buildings. This attaches a special charm and beauty of these giants.

Kudrinskaya Sq. 3 km from Kremlin.
It’s a Residential House! About 450 apartments. No Offices.
Construction 1948—1954.
Height 156 m.

Russian size!

She is a Snegurochka (Snow Maiden), the granddaughter of the Ded Moroz (Santa Clause). In Russia Ded Moroz is accompanied by Snegurochka. They together are symbols of New year.

By the way, the building on a background is hotel Leningradskaya. One of the Stalin’s seven skyscrapers. 136 meters, 26 floors.))
