Soviet era churchyard

The “Park of arts” are located behind the huge building of Tretyakov Gallery (Krymsky Val, 10).
There exhibited especially strange sculptural works (works of art can not call), and most importantly - brought Soviet-era monuments.
Why churchyard? Since ancient times cemeteries in Russia have been at churches. This is called the churchyard.
