Historically - Igumnova merchant’s house, the architect N. Pozdeev has constructed in 1889-1893.

The memorial plaque about a main entrance says:

” On December, 9th 1944. Official delivery of awards took place in Igumnov’s house of a residence of France to pilots a shelf “Normandy-Neman” the chapter of provisional government of the French Republic general De Gaulle.

On the occasion of sixtieth anniversary of visit to Moscow general De Gaulle the Ambassador of France in the Russian Federation its Excellency mister Jean Kade has opened a memorial board at presence of veterans a shelf “Normandy-Neman”.

AS A SIGN OF FRIENDSHIP AND THE FIGHTING BROTHERHOOD BETWEEN FRANCE AND RUSSIA. ”

2. The Embassy of New Zealand.

Architect L.Kekushev. Began construction Savva Mamontov with the purpose of sale. Despite of arrest of the businessman in 1899, and confiscation of property, the house has been completed by 1904.

3. The residence of the Ambassador of Germany.

Historically - a private residence of merchant Shlosberg. Architect A.Zelingson. 1910.
Several years ago, the facade was painted in yellow along with all the details and was a non aesthetic show. It is remembered, at Soviet Union in general painting of all was in the nature of things.

4. The Consulate General of Greece in Moscow.

The facade is crowned with a sculpture of the lion winning a dragon. Historically - the profitable house of architect P.Bojtsov. It is constructed in 1903. P.Boytsov, by the way and the author of interiors of the Igumnov House.

5. Brazilian Embassy.

Historically - mansion Z.Morozova, spouses Savva Morozov. Indeed incredibly successful combination unlimited finances and the architectural genius.

This place know all heads of diplomatic missions in Russia (and of course are envious ;-) ) Because this is House receptions Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

Inside the mansion is not just a luxury, and more than beautiful - it is unbelievable!
