Temple Pokrov the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village Osechenki. 17 km. from Moscow.
The most well-groomed. After restoration. There is a church Sunday school.
In 1896 on a place of wooden church has been constructed stone temple Pokrov the Blessed Virgin Mary, designed by architect Robert Klein. In Soviet times more than 50 years in the temple was a warehouse and factory. Lost icons, liturgical utensils and books.

Ascension of the Lord’s temple in the village Rechitsy. 38-km. Yegorievskaya highway.
Jerusalem sizes!
Built in 1859, funded by merchants, industrialists and ordinary people.
The temple was construct on a model designed by architect Tone. According to the plan around the main dome at the four corners would have been provided four small domes. No funds are not enough, and the building has its current form.
In Soviet times, the temple is not closed.

Old belive Georgievski Church in the village of Novo-Haritonovo
Сonstructed in 1912 in honour of 100-years victory over Napoleon in the Patriotic War 1812.

The imperial family took part in financing construction.
Please note, the bell tower with four hours of the clock face.
They certainly do not work, but the Orthodox Church with clock - in itself a great rarity.

Protection Church. Karpovo Village.
The building of stone church has been constructed about 1864-1870 on a place of wooden church.
Restoration began, but have not finished. The today’s condition is visible on a photo.

Holy Trinity Church in the village Hoteichi. 60 km. from Moscow.
Has been constructed in 1823 on a place of wooden church.
Divine services have stopped In 1939 and a building have given under a warehouse. In 1995 restoration works began and the temple has revived.

These look like pictures from a story book - so surreal to think these are sights you might see everyday. New Zealand doesn’t have such old architecture - just amazing how you have captured them in the snow - perfect.
