1. French Embassy. (The residence of the Ambassador.)

Historically – Igumnova merchant’s house, the architect N. Pozdeev has constructed in 1889-1893.
The memorial plaque about a main entrance says:
» On December, 9th 1944. Official delivery of awards took place in Igumnov’s house of a residence of France to pilots a shelf «Normandy-Neman» the chapter of provisional government of the French Republic general De Gaulle.
On the occasion of sixtieth anniversary of visit to Moscow general De Gaulle the Ambassador of France in the Russian Federation its Excellency mister Jean Kade has opened a memorial board at presence of veterans a shelf «Normandy-Neman».
AS A SIGN OF FRIENDSHIP AND THE FIGHTING BROTHERHOOD BETWEEN FRANCE AND RUSSIA. »
2. The Embassy of New Zealand.

Architect L.Kekushev. Began construction Savva Mamontov with the purpose of sale. Despite of arrest of the businessman in 1899, and confiscation of property, the house has been completed by 1904.
3. The residence of the Ambassador of Germany.

Historically – a private residence of merchant Shlosberg. Architect A.Zelingson. 1910.
Several years ago, the facade was painted in yellow along with all the details and was a non aesthetic show. It is remembered, at Soviet Union in general painting of all was in the nature of things.
4. The Consulate General of Greece in Moscow.

The facade is crowned with a sculpture of the lion winning a dragon. Historically – the profitable house of architect P.Bojtsov. It is constructed in 1903. P.Boytsov, by the way and the author of interiors of the Igumnov House.
5. Brazilian Embassy.

) Because this is House receptions Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
Inside the mansion is not just a luxury, and more than beautiful – it is unbelievable!

The main gates of the country

Borovitskie gates are located in a by-pass strelnitsa of Borovitskaya tower constructed in 1490 by Petro Antonio Soljario.
Above a gate, in a wall two dark cracks are visible – through them passed circuits of the elevating mechanism of the bridge. Yes-yes, as in films In masonry walls survived notches (grooves), which
dropped iron lattice.
But that was long time ago. After the fire of 1812 the bridge have broken and the river Neglinnuyu pipe buried in the ground. The reason for this «barbaric» treatment was unbearable stench.
Sewerage system did not exist, and in the river dumped all sewage.
In our times, there is no such kind of problems, but the river have left under Neglinnaya st. and Alexandrovsky Garden.

The history of the legendary brand begun in 1903, when William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson made the first motorcycle.
In Russia the opportunity to buy official Harley-Davidson came only after 102 years – in 2005.
On Harley motorcycles like to drive: Arnold Schwarzenegger who got on it in road accident, Gerard Deparde, also repeatedly happened in road accident, in a condition of alcoholic intoxication, Bruce Willis, Bono, Pierce Brosnan, and of course Mickey Rourke – man-motorcycle!
