In 1954, a monument to Jury Dolgoruki has been established in honour of 800-years anniversary of Moscow.
Yuri Dolgoruki(109.?.-1157) was Founder of Moscow, the sixth son of Vladimir Monomakh and a great son of Russian land.

In 2007 Russia launch nuclear submarine (“Borey” class) with 10 nuclear warheads «Bulava-M» aboard.
Submarine named «Yuri Dolgoruki»
